IRMCO® 980-080-10 is a very light versatile metal forming lubricant suitable for a range of applications where a virtually dry or residue free finish is required. As with all IRMCO products it is oil free and contains no solvent, chlorine or silicone.

IRMCO 980-080-20 METAL FORMING FLUID

IRMCO 980-080-20 Is a very versatile oilfree metal foming lubricant ideal as a general metal forming lubricant. It can be used for drawing pressing, spinning metal, heavy duty punching of aluminium, drawing stainless steel and many other metal forming applications.

Applied in a thin film it will outperform many traditional oils and is free from chlorine, solvent and silicone.

Pressings will weld without washing including stainless steel.

IRMCO 980-080-30 METAL FORMING FLUID

  IRMCO 980-080-30 is the heavy duty product in the 080 range and is suitable for deep drawing, severe forming and punching in steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

Applied by roller or spray this product will out perform traditional oils. Athough a reasonably viscous product it will clean from metal sufaces with plain water and so any aqueous pre wash system in paint or plating plant will have no problem removing this fluid.

IRMCO 980-146-20 developed for Advanced High Strenght Steels (AHSS) EN10149 S355MC or UK BS1449 40/35 up to grade 350.

HOW IRMCO NON OIL LUBRICANTS WORK

A thin film application of any IRMCO lubricant will replace most traditional chlorinated oils and give excellent results.

IRMCO lubricants have a thin viscosity when applied.

During metal forming surface temperature rise and the polymer chemistry becomes thicker and more tenacious.

IRMCO's HSP(HIGH SOLID POLYMER) is in fact "heat seeking" and will attach to hot metal, creating a friction reducing tenacious film barrier that allows the form tool to stretch and form metal without splitting or metal pick up even during the most demanding operations.
